Orientation and Induction
For SBMJCE it is extremely important that its new students feel at home and their transition is effortless. One gets to interact with the faculty and senior students to familiarize themselves. The orientation programme introduces the new students to the finer details about the programme and provides a foundation on which they will base their life ahead.

Code of Conduct
The reputation of a college is heavily dependent on its students. At SBMJCE students are expected to abide by a code of conduct, both inside and outside the campus. SBMJCE expects its students to be deemed as credible scholars of repute. A formal dress code is insisted to reflect dignity. Tight fitting jeans, spaghetti tops are absolutely UNACCEPTABLE. To ensure there is productive learning, 75% attendance is MANDATORY.

Counseling
A student’s educational, social, personal or emotional concerns are addressed by the counselors individually and are kept strictly confidential.

Clubs and Associations
SBMJCE aims at the all round development of the students. To this end, a host of activities are lined up for their benefit. They range from those delving in the realm of academics to sports, from hobbies to technical interests. Students are encouraged to join associations, which cater to their interests. This gives them the requisite exposure and helps them to explore and discover their true potential. The benefits of such an arrangement are immense. It also facilitates their personality development while inculcating the spirit of teamwork in their day to day activities.

Women Students at SBMJCE
It is always difficult for parents to leave their daughters in any new place. At SBMJCE, we understand the responsibility the parents place on our shoulders.

SBMJCE takes special care to make its women students not only safe but comfortable. The students, especially women, are provided with transport whenever they need to travel to the city. It is also made sure that they return safely in the same transport.
