The Centre subscribes to several electronic databases and journals. Some of these can be accessed online, while some others can be accessed from the CD- workstation at. The users are assisted to access the databases available, download or print the data as the need may be. Request for abstract and articles are provided for in this section.

The INDEST Consortium subscribes to the e-resources listed below. These e-resources are available from the publisher’s Web site except the Indian Standards. Over 10,000 Electronic Journals are accessible online including 600 Journals which are accessible through SBMJCE LIC subscription. Access to e-resources of this magnitude has been possible due to the INDEST Consortium Subscription funded by Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India. The INDEST Consortium is the first such Consortium at the National level which has been setup on the recommendation made by an expert group under the Chairmanship of Prof. N. Balakrishnan. The Consortium subscribes to several full-text e-resources as well as bibliographic databases.

IEEE/IEE Electronic Library (IEL) covers almost one third of the world's current electrical engineering and computer science literature, providing access to publications from the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and the Institution of electrical Engineers (IEE). The resource covers more than 950,000 documents from over 12,000 publications, including 219 journals, transactions, magazines, conference proceedings, IEEE Standards with back files from 1988 onwards plus select content dating back to 1950. More than 25,000 new pages are added per month. It provides access to more than two million full-page PDF images, including all original charts, graphs, diagrams, photographs, and illustrative material.

American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) is single source of information for Mechanical Engineers & Mechantronics. ASME includes 19 leading journals in the filed of Mechanical Engineering.
