The Library and Information Centre (LIC) is the heart of learning and a treasure of knowledge at Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain College of Engineering (SBMJCE). Designed to meet the information needs of the SBMJCE community, the Centre is also a source of news on the latest developments in the Information Technology, Engineering and Management domains.

LIC is centrally located on the campus and housed in an expansive building and spread over two floors. The Centre has a comprehensive collection of literature predominantly related to Engineering, Computer Science, Management and its allied subjects to meet the present and future information needs of its users.

At the LIC, you will not only find a stock of books alone but knowledge-based sources spanning further. Apart from print media, the collection offers databases, dissertations and multimedia resources.

The Centre is guided by a simple belief - no one shall be allowed to go away from this library without having received the information he/she has come for or the place of knowledge where he/she may find it.

Reading is the key that unlocks the record of human progress and opens the door to the wisdom of the ages. The love of books, acquired from childhood can lead to life-long opportunities in education and self realisation.

The latest innovation of the SBMJCE LIC is DSpace. This is a unique digital repository created to capture, store and preserve the intellectual output of the faculty at SBMJCE and the research community.

LIC offer guidance on the utilisation of the library resources and coordinates with the various departments on their research projects.
